Bulova 15j. Men's Square Cased Chased Bezel with Black Enamel accents, Extra-Fine, c.1924

Large 27mm x 35mm brushed chrome square cased men's Swiss Bulova from the Roaring 20's in excellent condition inside and out. Beautiful art deco engraved bezel with black enamel fill has a decidedly south-western feel. No deep scratches, damage or personalization. Hinged curved back. Wonderful silvered dial has been meticulously restored to it's factory original condition. New crystal is flawless. Crown shows some age but we have left it original. Original Bulova caliber 10AN 15 jewel Swiss movement is bright and clean and freshly overhauled, keeping good time, it's still protected by the original clear plastic dust cover. New black padded leather 20mm strap.

Girard Perregaux Swiss Gyromatic with Original Regulator Dial, Extra-Fine, c.1967

Very cool Girard Perregaux Gyromatic with factory original black regulator dial in a large size 37mm x 43mm screw back waterproof all stainless steel case with hooded crown. We have never seen this model before. Brushed stainless steel case with polished bezel and hooded crown is in superb condition with no scratches, damage or personalization. Screw-on back with Girard Perregaux cartouche. Excellent factory original black regulator dial that shows the hour on the top register, minutes on the bottom register and center sweep seconds and is signed "Girard Perregaux, Gyromatic". Original GP signed Gyromatic auto movement is very rare in a regulator style watch and this movement is bright and clean and keeping excellent time. Perfect for daily wear and a real attention getter. Fitted with a new 18mm black padded leather Eddie Bauer strap.

Longines Men's Large Early Solid 14k Gold Watch and Bracelet,          Extra-Fine+ Condition, c.1928

Superb 14 karat solid gold Longines with integral solid gold mesh long length bracelet from the roaring 20's. The factory original and untouched Longines signed gold dial with black numerals and sub seconds at 6:00 is clean and damage free and shows a light even patina under strong light. Original Breguet style blued steel moon hands. Original gold crown. New plexi crystal. Large 34mm solid 14 karat gold double hinged case with no damage, scratches or personalization. Hinges are tight, Cuvette is also solid gold. Hinged bezel and both rear covers snap closed snugly. Serial numbers of case and movement match, insuring a completely factory original Longines. Original Longines signed 17 jewel Swiss movement is bright and clean and keeping good time. Factory original solid 14 karat gold mesh bracelet in a generous 8 inch length and 14mm width, with tight integral hinges and secure clasp. This bracelet is just outstanding with no kinks, bends, snags or damage whatever. This fine Longines has been worn very little over the last 80 years and was well cared for. Large for the times with an unusually long bracelet and very rare in this condition.

Elgin Men's Large 7 jewel with Chased Nickel Case, All Original, c.1932

Very nice factory original condition Elgin from the depression era. Large 29mm x 37mm chased sides and bezel nickel case showing very light use with no deep scratches, damage or personalization. Factory Original white dial with gold applied numerals and sub seconds at 6:00 is clean and very handsome. Original blued steel hands are clean and corrosion free. Hamilton White Gold Filled Cushion Case with Engraved and Enameled Bezel c.1928

Museum Quality Bulova Hero's Presentation Watch, Solid 14k Gold c.1924 

 "From the passengers of President Taft to F. J. Lommers for bravery Jan. 26 1924 In wreck of the Mary Horlock".

This fabulous gentleman's solid gold watch is not only stunningly beautiful, it is built to the highest standards of the day AND it is a genuine piece of maritime history.  We know the cargo vessel 'Mary Horlock' went down in the Western Pacific on Jan. 26, 1924. Cause given was "shifting cargo." The Mary Horlock had served during the Great War under the name 'War Horse II' and was of either U.S. or British registry. We know the Steamship 'President Taft' was of the President Line and was out of San Francisco, and that she was cruising in the Western Pacific during January of 1924.  How she came to be at the sinking of the Mary Horlock, who F.J. Lommers was, or what act of bravery he did that inspired the on-looking passengers of a Steamship Liner to chip in and have a really first class custom gold watch engraved in his honor, we do not know.  But the log of the President Taft is in the archives in San Francisco and the story is surely recorded there, and a story likely appeared in the newspapers of the day as well. San Francisco also has a superb maritime museum and historical society. A couple of days holiday in San Francisco should be enough to track down the story and maybe even photographs.   This documentation would dramatically increase the watch's value as well.

The watch is cased in a solid 14 karat gold wire lug hinged back cut corner case that is in mint condition with no scratches or damage anywhere. 24mm X 39mm. The stunning gold dial has a sunken oval center surrounded by black minutes register and fabulous exploding Arabic numerals. The dial is all original, pristine and just beautiful. Original blued steel hands are clean with no oxidation. Inside beats a superb, highest quality 21 Jewel Bulova 8AC movement that is freshly serviced and keeping excellent time. Original 14k gold crown. Crystal is clean and clear. All original, all authentic and in mint condition. Fitted with a new high quality black leather strap and specially gift boxed.

Leonidas Heuer One Button Regulator Dial Chronograph c.1939

Very scarce and all original Leonidas one button chronograph with the highly collectable regulator dial by Heuer from the mid to late 1930's. Pristine factory original silvered dial is untouched and in mint condition showing very light ageing. Sunken constant time dial at 12:00. Blue telemeter scale and black Arabic numerals for chrono seconds around the outside of dial and blue tachymeter snail scale at center. Signed Chronographe Leonidas Swiss Made. Sunken accumulated 30 minute chrono dial at 6:00. Original blued steel hands are mint. Stainless steel snap back case with chromed bezel is excellent and measures 33mm x 40mm x 10mm. The crisp and clean 15 jewel Swiss movement is unsigned, guaranteed original to the watch and is identical to the Heuer model of this watch. This movement is running well, keeping good time and all chronograph functions are operating properly with hands snapping back to zero smartly. Fitted with a new alligator print black leather 14mm strap.

Bulova Accutron Astronaut 'A' 214 with Copper 24 Hour Dial and Rotating Bezel, Mint Condition c.1963

Stunning 214 Accutron Astronaut with rare copper  dial custom factory made for  Tiffany & Co. by special order. Military dial with standard 12 hour time indicated with the standard hands on the copper dial and a second hour hand showing 24 hour military time on the stainless steel bi-directional rotating bezel.  First model 214 with the latch type crown located on the back. Large 38mm solid mono-block stainless steel case in mint condition. Dial is original and pristine. As we understand it, the original owner bought three of these Astronaut's from Tiffany's, one in gold with black dial, one with white dial and had this one with the copper dial specially ordered to match his cufflinks and wardrobe. New tan suede padded leather 18mm strap. 
 

Illinois Military Wire Lug Sterling Cushion Case with Pierced Shield and Porcelain Dial, MINT CONDITION! c.1929

Very rare completely factory original Illinois military style cushion cased men's watch with integral pierced shield in spectacular mint condition throughout. Outstanding full-sized 30mm x 39mm Fahys 3/0 sterling silver cushion case just as it came from the factory in 1929 with no scratches, damage or personalization. It looks like it was never worn. The case is marked 'patent pending' and being made immediately prior the crash of '29, this model was produced in extremely low numbers and then discontinued due to the great depression and is now highly collectable. Solid wire 16mm lugs. Pierced shield snap on bezel with original glass crystal fitted inside shield. Factory original Illinois white porcelain dial with black numerals and minutes register and sunken sub seconds at 6:00 is mint with no hairlines, chips or crazing. Original blued steel hands and original sterling crown which has sharp clean fluting. Factory original Illinois 17 jeweled movement with gold jewel setting and gold center wheel is beautifully damaskeened and immaculate. It has been recently serviced and is running like new and keeping very good time. Fitted with a new black leather 16mm strap. 

Geneve Full Sized Genuine Regulator with Original Dial and Fancy Lugs c.1950

Cased and timed by the prestigious Geneve Watch Co. Switzerland. 100% Authentic. Produced in the early 1950`s. Very rare and absolutely fabulous looking 14 karat white gold fill case with graceful sculpted lugs and beautiful two tone factory original dial. This Gentleman’s strap watch is in near mint condition, completely overhauled, cleaned, oiled, new crystal and its running strong and keeping accurate time. Beautiful silvered dial showing slight even patina and dark mustard sub dials for the hours in black Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic. This dial is factory original and has not been re-painted or 'restored.' Original black hands are mint. White gold filled case with stainless steel snap back is very clean with no scratches, damage or personal engraving. 34mm x 42mm. Powered by a crisp 17 jewel shock proofed Swiss movement. Signed Geneva on dial, case and movement. Fitted with a new dark brown lizard calf strap that really compliments the dial.

Bulova Classic Tank with Engraved Bezel and Bracelet, Extra-Fine Original c.1936

This is a very clean and straight Bulova classic men's tank with an engraved bezel and matching bracelet from the pre-war depression era. Classic 10k gold filled 20mm x 37mm tank with engraved bezel shows light use with no scratches, damage or personalization. Original white dial with gold applied deco numerals, the minutes register is correct but the photo's show distortion caused by the replaced curved crystal. Inside beats the original clean and crisp 17 jewel Bulova 6AE movement that runs strong keeping good time. Matching gold filled adjustable butterfly bracelet will fit 6 1/2 to 7 inch wrist. A leather 14-15mm strap could be fitted for the larger wrist.

Baylor Chronograph g.f.  17 jewel Landeron 149 c.1968

Extra-fine condition Baylor two register chronograph in a waterproof 37mm gold filled case with no scratches, damage or personalization. Original silvered dial with constant seconds, 45 elapsed minutes and seconds and outer tachometer scale to measure speed over a measured mile. Original push buttons and crown in excellent condition and original flawless crystal. Mint condition Landeron 149 movement signed Baylor is beating strong and keeping good time. Fitted with a new brown padded leather 20mm strap.

Zenith D H Large WWII Authentic German Army Issue in All Original Mint NOS Condition c.1943

Here is a real prize for you military collectors. This is a large size Zenith D H German army issue mil. spec. wristwatch from WW2 with it's ORIGINAL black dial and hands and in absolutely MINT, MINT, MINT condition! The Zenith DH is harder to find than the other makers like Helvetia that made watches for the Germans in WW2 and to find one in decent shape with it's original dial is very hard to do. We have NEVER seen one in this as-new condition. The black dial is totally pristine with 99% of the original luminous material still on the dial and exactly matching the color of the luminous original hands. The solid stainless steel 35mm screw back case is mint and doesn't even show any shop wear from the last 65 years. The back is correctly signed with the D H serial number. Inside is a pristine Zenith 15 jewel movement with one of the earliest commercial uses of the incabloc shock resisting system and has just been serviced and is running like new. Original crown and crystal. This incredible Zenith DH came out of a Danish watchmaker's collection where it has been ever since the War. 18mm black leather buffalo strap is new.

Longines Men's Early Large Chased Tonneau, All Original c.1918

This is a very early Tonneau cased man's wrist watch from the end of WW I and in all original, extra fine condition. Full sized 26mm x 38mm wire lug Nickel case with art neuveau chased bezel is signed inside the back "Longines Staybrite Swiss Made" and bears the matching serial number to the movement, guaranteeing a factory original watch. The hinged snap back is in good condition and has been lightly buffed recently. Factory original finish Longines silvered dial with black numerals and sunken sub seconds. Original blued steel hands and flawless glass crystal. Crown is a replacement. Inside is the original Longines cal. 11.84N 15 ruby jeweled movement with three finger bridges and bearing the 1918 serial number that matches the case number. The watch is running properly and keeping time. Fitted with a new Hirsch brown lizard 15mm strap (not pictured.)

This is one of the earliest examples of a factory production civilian styled man's wristwatch ever made. Men didn't wear wrist watches prior to WW I and thru the war years the vast majority were either ladies pocket watch conversions or what has come to be known as "trench" watches, either round or cushion cased, but distinctly utilitarian and military in appearance.  This 1918 Longines is one of the earliest in the genre of stylish men's civilian watches as we know them today.

Pierce Merit Moon Phase Calendar 17j All Original, Extra Fine, c.1950

Moon phase calendar watches are very hard to come by with factory original finish dials and in decent condition. This fine Swiss Merit by Pierce is completely factory original and in great condition. 33mm x 41mm stainless steel and chrome snap back case with very little use showing and no damage, personalization or deep scratches. All setting buttons are flush with the case and are working properly. Factory original silvered dial signed Hydate (a Pierce brand name) with gold applied numerals and batons. Day and month windows at top of dial and moon phase window at 6:00 and date around circumference of dial. Dial is clean and untouched. Original hands and red sweep seconds. Original crown and crystal. Crisp and clean 17 jewel Swiss movement signed 'Merit' which is a Pierce 103c caliber movement, is running strong and all functions work properly. New brown leather alligator pattern 17mm strap.
