Classic Girard Perregaux from the war years in a beautiful solid 18 karat rose gold case. Large size case 38mm x 47mm with original gold flush mount crown and fancy solid wire lugs that is in excellent condition. This beautiful low profile case was made in Argentina under license from Girard Perregaux and as such, is a factory original. Original silvered dial with sunken sub seconds at 6:00 and solid gold hands shows some age spotting but retains it's original beauty and we have left it original. Original Girard Perregaux 17 ruby jeweled manual wind movement is bright and clean and keeping very good time. Fitted with a new Hirsch brown lizard 19mm strap especially designed for wire lug watches.
