Benrus Solid 14k Engraved White Gold with Blue Enameled Dial and Genuine Diamonds and Sapphires, Near Mint, c.1925

This is a rare and beautiful high-end top quality ladies solid white gold engraved art deco Benrus from 1925 with blue inlaid enamel dial, two high quality genuine diamonds flanked by four genuine blue sapphire baguettes. All factory original and in mint condition. The original silver and inlaid blue enamel dial is in pristine condition and without flaw. It features geometric enameled designs, a 60 minute outer track border, black enamel painted numerals and original blue steel Spade-style hands. It is signed BENRUS below the 12 and “Swiss” below the 6. The solid 14 karat white gold case is beautifully engraved on bezel and sides with secure snap back and no personal sentiments and measures 17mm x 29mm with solid 11mm wire lugs. The matching crown appears to be a replacement and would probably have originally been crowned with another blue sapphire and is the only thing on the watch that is not factory original. Inside is the original Benrus 15 jewel with 4 adjustments movement that was the best available in it's day to match the superb high-end quality of the case and dial. It is freshly serviced by us and runs, winds and sets properly and is keeping very good time. Fitted with a new navy blue leather strap that perfectly compliments the sapphire and enamel work and will fit a wrist of 6"-7 3/8". A beautiful investment quality heirloom ready to be worn and cherished for generations to come.

Bulova Rectangular Cut-Corner White Gold Filled Engraved Case with Original Dial and 15 Jewel Movement, Near Mint, c.1924

This is a simply gorgeous 1920's Art Deco Bulova ladies watch in a 14K white gold filled intricately engraved hinged case that measures 31mm long and 17mm across. Completely factory original and pristine. The cabochon sapphire winding crown is in great shape and operates smoothly. The beautiful sterling silver dial is signed Bulova and features black enamel numerals, blue steel hands and a finely engraved center dial with wonderful detailing.  Inside is the original Bulova high grade and very clean 15 Jewel movement that has been serviced and is running great. Fitted with a black cord bracelet but we will put a leather strap on it if you prefer.

Elgin Ladies Large Fancy Engraved White Gold Filled, Extra-Fine, c.1925

Ladies fancy engraved Elgin from the Roaring 20's. Nice large size 27mm x 32mm 14k white gold filled fancy engraved case with 12 mm wire lugs and showing limited actual use with no scratches, damage or personalization. Factory original silvered dial with sub seconds at 6:00, shows a little age but is still quite pretty. Original clean blued steel hands are easy to read. Original Elgin 7 jewel "Dictator" movement is clean and keeping good time. New old stock dark brown Hadley Roma genuine lizard strap.

Bucherer Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Enameled Lapel or Brooch Watch and Matching Marcasite Pin, Extra-Fine Condition, c.1910

Beautiful antique turn-of-the-century ladies lapel watch and matching brooch pin from Bucherer. Solid sterling silver watch case with black enamel and beautiful pink roses on front and back. No enamel loss but there are a couple of very small edge flaws on the back. Matching Victorian brooch pin of .800 silver with Marcasite crystals and black enamel links. Factory original dial signed by Bucherer with no damage and only light age evident. Original blued steel hands, glass crystal and original crown. Running on the original high quality Bucherer 15 jewel Swiss movement that is running, winding and setting properly and keeping good time.

Gruen Simple and Elegant Solid 14 Karat White Gold with 4 Genuine Diamonds in Completely Pristine Mint Condition, c.1928

Here is an excellent example of a ladies “Cartouche Model 186” timepiece, set within a finely engraved 14kt Solid White Gold & Diamond case and dating to ca 1928. Beautifully engraved art deco rectangular case with a high quality diamond (Gruen only used the best) at each corner. Very understated and elegant. 15mm x 27mm. The white dial with black Arabic expanding numerals is in clean and beautiful condition with clean and very visible blued steel hands. Inside we find a clean and higher-grade Fifteen Jewel Gruen movement that is signed GRUEN GUILD, SWISS – FOUR 4 ADJ., FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS with the caliber number “155” stamped below the balance wheel. The inside of the case lid is stamped GRUEN 14K CINCINNATI – 155/66 with case reference number below. Please note how the mechanism’s caliber number (155) is repeated on the case lid while the 66 is the dial model number. We have just serviced this fine movement and it is operating properly and keeping good time. Fitted with a new padded black leather strap.

Elgin Art Deco Solid 18 karat White Gold with Black Enamel Filigree and Engraved with Fancy Original Dial, Near Mint Condition, c.1930

Fabulous art deco Elgin from the Roaring 20's in a fancy solid 18 karat white gold case with black enamel filigree and engraving on bezel, back and sides. All enamel is intact and the case is scratch and damage free with no personalization. 17mm x 31mm. Original solid gold engraved crown. Fancy factory original and unmolested white Elgin dial with ornate cartouche, gold applied numerals and sparkling rosettes in the center shows only very faint ageing. Running strong on the crisp and clean original high grade Elgin 15 jewel mechanical movement that is freshly serviced and keeping good time. This little gem is immaculate inside and out, completely original and of the highest quality, not to mention one of the prettiest we've seen from the era.  Fitted with a new black leather strap.

Elgin Ladies Big Antique Art Neuveau Engraved 15j Solid 14 karat White Gold Watch and Bracelet In Original Box, Extra-Fine Condition, c.1919

Stunning all factory original ladies antique Elgin in solid 14 karat gold with it's original solid gold filigree stretch bracelet and in it's original box. Large sized for it's day at 24mm x 32mm solid 14 karat white gold wirelug case with intricate engraving on bezel, sides and back with tonneau shaped case around a round bezel with an inset square cut corner dial within. Factory original untouched white dial with maroon (or lavender) Arabic numerals and square minutes register, signed Elgin. It shows some age but is still quite presentable and very attractive. Original gold crown and round glass crystal. Original quick disconnect spring expansion bracelet is also solid 14 karat white gold with delicate spider-web design on links. Will fit wrist from 6 1/4 inches and expands up to 8 inches, should fit most women today. Inside is the original Elgin high grade 15 jewel movement that is freshly serviced and working properly, keeping good time. This beautiful heirloom is still in it's original hard cased box with fitted velvet interior which is in excellent condition. A very rare and beautiful ladies antique wristlet.

Movado Ermeto Moon Phase Triple Calendar Manual Wind, Near Mint, c.1950

Ermeto's are just so hard to find in decent original condition where the leather covers have not shrunken away from the case edge or been torn or damaged. This example is in just excellent original condition. Beautiful brown crocodile leather cover is snug fitting and in wonderful near mint condition. The pattern on the leather has been carefully matched up on both the front and back of the case. Factory original white and silvered two tone dial with gold applied numerals and minute register surrounding the 31 day date register with windows for day and month and moon phases. Dial is crisp and clean and pristine.  Gold filled case with easel stand and chain loop. Case is excellent with no damage, scratches or personalization, it closes snugly and is clean and straight. We did not get a photo of the pristine original Movado Swiss movement that is bright and clean and keeping very good time with all pushers and complications working properly. Factory original crown. This is a manual wind Ermeto that does not wind the watch when opening and closing. These were available as an option later in the Ermeto line to provide a more reliable purse or pocket watch with fewer parts to go wrong, the automatic winders almost always needed to be hand wound anyway. Fitted with what we believe to be the factory original braided leather watch chain in excellent condition. 

Movado Ermeto Pocket-Purse Watch with Automatic Wind and Two-Tone Round Dial, All-Original Extra Fine+ Condition, c.1940

Here we have a superb Movado Ermeto pocket or purse watch with the self winding mechanism that winds the watch each time the case is pulled apart to read the time and with the very scarce two-tone round dial produced during the 1940's war years. Black genuine baby alligator cover is in excellent condition with no tears, stains or damage. Mint stainless steel case with easel stand for bedside or desk. Sweep seconds hand and original luminous filled hands that exactly matches the luminous material on the Arabic numerals. The luminous material has long since lost it's glow and there is a small amount of loss in the minute hand. Sweep seconds are rare on Ermeto's. The dial on this watch changes color as it catches the light and is just stunning. Two tone bull's-eye dial with silvered square frame is factory original finish and looks as clean and beautiful as when new. Original Eidelweiss crown. Powered by the original Movado 15 jewel Swiss movement that is serviced and keeping very good time.

Elgin Art Neuveau Solid 14 karat White Gold with Black Enamel Scroll Corners and Original Oval Dial, 15 jewels, Extra-Fine Condition, c.1926

A very sweet high quality ladies art neuveau watch from the roaring 20's. Superb solid 14 karat white gold case with engraved bezel, back and sides and beautiful black enamel inlaid scrollwork in the four corners of the bezel. Case measures 17mm x 30mm in extra fine condition with no scratches, damage or enamel loss and original gold crown. Original oval dial with some age at the top but still very presentable and beautiful. Original glass crystal is flawless. Original Elgin 15 jewel movement is clean, corrosion free and keeping good time. Fitted with a new black genuine lizard strap.

Bulova Round Dial Wirelug Nurse's 15j Tonneau with Red Sweep Seconds, Near Mint Condition, c.1930

Ladies watches between the wars rarely had seconds hands and models like this with a highly visible red center sweep seconds were popular with nurses for measuring pulse rate though many other women found them useful as well. This little beauty from the depression years is in an immaculate simple art deco case with no scratches or damage. 17mm x 30mm. The unusual factory original round dial is aged to a light honey tone and is clean and very readable. Inside is a high quality 15 jewel Bulova movement where most ladies watches of the day had the much cheaper 7 jewels or less movements. Runs, winds and sets properly and keeps good time. Original fancy crown and original glass crystal. All factory original in near mint condition inside and out. Fitted with a black cord bracelet but we will fit a leather strap if desired.

Ernest Borel Ladies Cocktail Watch with Hypnotic Kaleidoscope Dial and Exhibition Back, Mint Condition, c.1970

Like new-old-stock mint condition ladies Ernest Borel Cocktail watch with moving hypnotic kaleidoscope dial, and red mystery hands. Gold filled case with hours register on bezel in black enamel. Glass exhibition back so you can view the immaculate 17 jewel Swiss movement in operation.  25mm x 33mm. Original style gold leafed black leather strap. These were very popular in the late 60's and 70's but most were worn a lot and are now very hard to find in good condition. Far out.

Elgin Art Neuveau Ladies White Gold Filled 15j Wirelug with Original Bracelet and Box, Extra-Fine Original, c.1933

Classic Ladies Elgin art deco wirelug white gold filled and engraved oval dial wristlet with it's original wgf bracelet and still in it's original Elgin gift box from the Great Depression years. The 17mm x 32mm wirelug white gold filled case has delicate art neuveau engraving on the bezel and sides and is in excellent lightly used condition with no damage or personalization. Classis oval dial is factory original and untouched with only slight age evident. Original crown, hands and oval glass crystal that has one light scratch which is not distracting. Original matching white gold filled link bracelet in excellent condition that is sized for a delicate wrist but has a handy built-in extension that should accommodate a 6 7/8 inch wrist and can easily be exchanged for a leather strap if longer size is needed. Inside is a very high quality Elgin 15 jewel movement is bright and clean and is serviced and running, setting and winding properly, keeping good time. A real sweetheart still in it's original box.
