We could not safely remove the back for a photograph but we guarantee the movement is clean and original. Flawless original high quality crystal. Movado Solid 18 karat Rose Gold Triple Calendar, All Original,  c.1940

Solid 18 karat rose gold Movado triple calendar from the war years in extra fine condition with it's factory original two-tone dial. These are very difficult to find in decent original condition. The solid gold Movado signed case measures 32mm x 39mm and is superb with no dents, scratches, personalization or damage to case or back. Back snaps on snugly. Original rose gold crown. Very handsome original two-toned dial is excellent and shows only the lightest of age under close scrutiny. Day and month windows at 3:00 and 9:00 and date register around circumference of dial. Sub seconds at 6:00. Original solid gold hands and applied Arabic numerals. Original Movado 15 jewel Swiss movement is bright and clean and freshly serviced and is keeping good time with all calendar functions and pushers operating properly. Fitted with a new 16mm brown crocodile calf strap.

Girard Perregaux 39 Jewel Gyromatic in Stainless Steel, All Original, Superb Condition, c.1959

Swiss Reminder with Alarm Pocket Watch/Travel Clock, New-Old-Stock in Original Box c.1900

Here's a rare and unusual ALARM Swiss pocket watch from the turn of the century in absolute MINT New-Old-Stock condition and in it's original wood box with instruction papers! Nice large man's sized 50mm gun metal case with gold bow and crown is flawless. Back case cover opens to provide a stand for desk or bedside. Nickel cuvette with alarm on-off switch and regulator window and marked with the Swiss patent number 31779. We have not opened the back to photograph the Swiss pin-set movement but it is running like new and keeps great time and the alarm works perfectly and sounds a good loud ring. The main spring powers both the watch and the alarm. Flawless white porcelain dial signed "REMINDER" with an arrow indicating setting of alarm hand is done counter clockwise. The alarm is set by rotating the bezel counter clockwise and the time is set by depressing the pin and turning the crown clockwise. Fitted original wooden box is in excellent condition and still contains the original papers and instructions. With a decidedly military appearance, this may have been made for use in World War One. This very early example of a mechanical alarm watch has never been used or carried and would make a superb addition to any Movado Ermeto, alarm, desk clock or pocket watch collection.

Elgin Model E-9 White Gold Tank in Original Box, Near Mint All Original  c.1927

1927 Elgin Model E-9 men's wrist watch with a heavily engraved Art Deco case in 14k white gold fill. This gem comes with its original box and papers. The 14k white gold fill case with stunning art deco engraving on the bezel and sides measures a large 27mm x 36mm. The snap on case back fits snugly with no scratches or personal engravings. The case is in excellent original condition with no damage or wear thru. The dial has been professionally restored to its correct original appearance in a silver Butler finish with bold shadow box luminous numbers and matching hands. There is a crisp outer minute track and a sunken sub-seconds dial at six o'clock. Signed 'Elgin' just below the 12 marker. The crystal is new, clean and clear with no scratches or cracks. The movement is the Elgin original 15 jewel manual wind that is bright and clean and is keeping very good  time. This watch sold for $47.50 in 1927 when gold was $20 an ounce. Fitted with a new black leather 16mm strap.

Early Key wind and set Pocket Watch in Extra Fine Condition, c.1875

Superb condition large 18s 56mm key wind and set pocket watch with mint white porcelain dial. Solid nickel case with hinged bezel, back and Cuvette. The case and movement show no signatures or other identifying makers marks but we believe this is an American made watch, though it could be Swiss or English. The high quality jeweled full plate movement is crisp and clean and bears only the one million plus serial number and the patent date of May 11th, 1875. It is running well and keeps good time. The white porcelain dial is without chip or hairline with black Roman numerals and single sunk sub seconds at 6:00. Bow is snug and secure and all covers snap shut smartly. Hinges are great. Key wind and key set by hands. A beautiful old watch from the era of the Old West, this would be perfect for the wild west shooter or re-enactor.

Elgin Historically Important WW2 American-Soviet Union Lend-Lease Watch "To Our Allies in the USSR from the people of the USA" c.1941

Here is a remarkable survivor of World War Two for you history buffs and military collectors. This Elgin is one of less than 3,000 watches provided to the Soviet Union by the United States under the Lend-Lease agreements at the beginning of World War 2 for use by Soviet combat officers and it bears the engraving on the back in Russian; "To Our Allies in the USSR from the people of the USA" This historically important Elgin is in remarkable condition for a combat veteran coming out of Russia after seeing military service against the Nazi's plus 67 years. The 30mm x 37mm snap back case is in great shape with no corrosion, damage or wear thru. The factory original dial shows some age but still quite presentable, especially for a Russian war watch.  The original Elgin cal. 580 7 jewel movement is clean with no corrosion and is running strong and keeping good time. Original crown, but the flawless crystal is probably a recent replacement. Vintage watches coming out of the old Soviet Union these days are in notoriously poor condition and have invariably been worn out and re-built, re-painted and re-cased and original examples in decent condition like this are quite rare. We can only guess that the inscription "To Our Allies in the USSR from the people of the USA" saved this watch from being worn  and worn out in Stalinist Russia and the cold war years after. Getting caught wearing such a watch may well have gotten a person sent to Siberia. Fitted with a modern and new Russian made black leather 16mm strap.

Benrus Large Stepped Barrel Case 17j. All Original in Near Mint Condition, c.1949

This is a very minty all original Benrus in a larger sized stepped barrel 10k rolled gold plate case from the post war era. Case measures 28mm x 41mm and is crisp and clean with no scratches, damage or wear and looks like new. Original gold crown and clear crystal. Stainless steel back. Powered by the original Benrus in-house model BB4 Swiss 17 jewel movement that is crisp and clean and keeping very good time. Fitted with a new brown croc print leather 14mm strap that is sized for the smaller wrist at 7-7 1/4 inches. We did not have a longer strap in 14mm but they are available at your local jeweler's.  

Bulova Big Two-tone Tank Style, All Original, Extra-Fine Condition, c.1929

1929 Bulova art deco tank style men's watch in a clean two toned yellow and white gold filled chased case with factory original dial. Large 26mm x 38mm white gold filled case with yellow gold engraved accents and gold crown showing no brassing or scratches and only light normal use. Factory original silvered dial with gold applied numerals and signature with sunken sub seconds is clean and very handsome. Original blued steel hands are bright and clean. Bulova Rare Model Early "Doctors Dial" in 10k gf Cushion Case and All Original, Near Mint Condition, c.1936

Rare and very early center sweep seconds "doctor's dial" Bulova from 1936 that we have never seen before and in incredible near mint condition. This center sweep seconds Bulova predates all other "doctors dial" Bulova's we've seen by about 5 years. 26mm x 33mm 10k gold filled and chased bezel case is superb with no scratches or wear and only one small dimple on the hinged back, which is personally engraved on the inside with the original owner's name. Factory original silver matt enamel finished dial is pristine and untouched with gold applied numerals and original gold hands. Beautiful. Original gold crown and original clear glass crystal. Inside is the original crisp and clean Bulova Swiss made 15 jewel, adjusted, cal. 10AE movement that has just been serviced and is keeping great time. Fitted with a new black lizard calf 14mm strap.

Girard Perregaux Large Solid 18 k. Rose Gold, All Original, Fine Condition, c.1940

Classic Girard Perregaux from the war years in a beautiful solid 18 karat rose gold case. Large size case 38mm x 47mm with original gold flush mount crown and fancy solid wire lugs that is in excellent condition. This beautiful low profile case was made in Argentina under license from Girard Perregaux and as such, is a factory original. Original silvered dial with sunken sub seconds at 6:00 and solid gold hands shows some age spotting but retains it's original beauty and we have left it original.
